About Us

The Low Carbon Liquid Fuels (LCLFs) Knowledge Hub is a publicly accessible, evidence-based digital resource that brings together trusted information on low carbon liquid fuels in Australia and globally. It is designed to help people learn about the fuels, feedstocks, supply chains, standards, sustainability considerations and projects shaping this developing industry. The Hub is intended for industry, regional stakeholders and the wider community. It provides a central place to find clear explanations, original source links and current examples of activity, helping users to consider information from different trusted sources.

Objectives of the Knowledge Hub

Editorial policy

Purpose and neutrality

The Knowledge Hub aims to provide balanced, evidence-based information about low carbon liquid fuels. It is an information resource, not a financial, legal or investment advice service. Inclusion of a project, organisation, technology, resource or external link does not imply endorsement.

Source selection

Content is based on reputable and current sources. These include government
publications, regulators, standards bodies, Australian and international agencies, peer-reviewed research and clearly attributed industry or project materials.

Evidence and transparency

Key claims are supported by links to original publications, datasets, standards or official project information.

Review before publication

Content is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, relevance and consistency before publication. This includes checking terminology, links, dates and whether material is suitable for a general public-facing Knowledge Hub.

Hub Assistant guardrails

The Hub Assistant helps users answer questions, find content and navigate the website. It has been trained using a selected set of information and resources prepared and reviewed by the hub delivery team. When generating responses, the Assistant uses hub-selected material and does not access the external internet for information. The Hub Assistant cannot provide financial, legal or investment advice.

Developed with industry input

The Hub has been shaped through advisory input, workshops and user testing by stakeholders across the low carbon liquid fuels ecosystem. These processes helped structure the Hub, identify priority topics, check information for accuracy, and ensure the Hub is relevant and useful for different audiences.

Updates and corrections

Content is reviewed and updated as policies, standards and projects change. Errors can be reported through the contact form. Reported errors are checked against their source and corrected, and the page is updated.

Contribution pathways

Users can contact the Hub to ask questions, suggest resources, submit projects, or report corrections.
