These Terms of Use govern your access to the Low Carbon Liquid Fuels Knowledge Hub (“the Hub”). The Hub is owned by the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts (DITRDCSA) and was developed and is maintained by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) on DITRDCSA’s behalf. By using the Hub you accept these terms.
Purpose of the Hub
The Hub provides general information about low carbon liquid fuels in Australia. It is published for information only and is not professional, legal, financial, engineering or investment advice. You should obtain your own independent advice before acting on anything you read here.
Accuracy
We work to keep the content accurate and current, drawing on published sources which are cited throughout. The Hub is nevertheless provided as is: neither DITRDCSA nor QUT warrants that the content is complete, accurate or up to date, and neither accepts liability for any loss arising from reliance on it.
Ask the Hub
The Hub includes an AI assistant that answers questions using content published on this site. Its answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are not advice, and they are not a statement of DITRDCSA’s, the Australian Government’s or QUT’s position. Each answer links to the page it drew on, and that source page prevails over anything the assistant says.
Do not enter personal or confidential information into the assistant. It is not a channel for contacting DITRDCSA or QUT, reporting an issue or submitting anything for consideration. Use the contact form for that. Conversations are logged as described in our Privacy Policy.
Do not use the assistant to attempt to extract information the Hub does not publish, to interfere with its operation, or to generate content for unlawful purposes.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Hub in any way that breaches the law, infringes anyone’s rights, or interferes with its operation or security. This includes attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, and using automated means to harvest content at a scale that degrades the service for others.
External links
The Hub links to external websites for reference. Those sites are not controlled by DITRDCSA or QUT, and linking to them does not imply endorsement of their content, products or services.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, content on the Hub is owned by or licensed to DITRDCSA. You may access, download and cite it for personal, educational or research purposes, with attribution. Third-party material, including images and cited documents, remains the property of its owners and may not be reused without their permission.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information the Hub collects and how it is handled. It forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Hub after a change is published means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia.
